Shoes should be comfortable and you should look good in them, but ever so often shoes should be fun. Surprisingly, some companies think that way. Here are some shoes and sandals that I like.
Made by a company called Vibram. Cost $80. I actually like these shoes. They look fun to walk outside in and they look super comfortable.
Made by Terra Plana. Cost $50. Called Dopie’s. These are way rad sandals. I love the shape in between the toes. Very stylish.
Company MBT. Cost $250. These are retard shoes that started in Ireland. They say these are the most comfortable shoes ever. They are supposed to make your back feel better due to the enlarged sole that rolls creating less impact with each step. Nifty idea. We’ll see if they catch on.
Made by Heely’s. Cost $80. These shoes let you roll on the heels of your shoes instead of walking. I see kids roll on these bad boys and every time I get jealous. I would love to buy a pair. Adult sizes available.
Made by Dada. Price $200-$300. Called the M-Code. They include wireless headphones and built-in speakers while you’re busy being that baller you are. Downloads up to 100 songs. They charge up via USB. The controls to change songs are on the tongue of the sneaker, and yes they are actually a real pair of shoes. (I wonder if this guy has ever heard of an Ipod?)
Company Nike. Cost $60. Transformer Shoes, oh, I want a pair. WRONG!!!! This is actually a good shoe idea gone bad. Poor kids are going to have blisters all over their feet!!! Where is the comfort in hard plastic Optimus Prime?
Company Unknown. Cost Unknown. The Electronic Massaging Sandals includes six different pre-programmed routines and will automatically shut off after 15 minutes to conserve the batteries.
Company unknown. Cost unknown. But its a great idea if you’re busy and to clean the house.
Company Reef. Cost $60. Called the Stash, you can leave your wallet at home and put your key and credit card in your sandals. Nice idea.
Its amazing that people get enough time for these crazy shoe ideas, let alone being lucky enough to find someone to manufacture them.
