Sports Trivia Game That Makes You Cash $$$$ On Your Iphone

I love sports and I love my iPhone. Put that together and you get Shout.

So there is this tech savvy friend I have and he asked me one day, “Dude, have you tried this app game? You can play this trivia game watching NFL or College football. I’ve won like 400 bucks.” I was amazed! I was like, “What the heck! Why haven’t you invited me to this game?”

He shrugged his shoulders. I pull out my iPhone, sign up for this game, download the app and start playing this game during a Monday Night Football game. Man, I was hooked! I got a $10 iTunes card, a $10 Amazon card and got second place overall and got $40. It was so easy! I’ve been playing every week (Monday, Friday, and Saturday), I haven’t won every game but it’s been fun to see what I can win. I’ve made about 300 bucks in a month by just answering the questions of games that I would normally just watch with my friends.

Here’s how it works:

Scan the QR code with your iPhone to sign up for Shout!

A questions comes up on your iPhone. You have four choices to answer with every question. You have three strategies: Answer fast, answer slow, or mix of both.

First, you just answer everything as fast as you can. Don’t think. You won’t win the whole game but you can get cool gift cards and stuff. For example, one game I was just answering questions really fast and I got sweet Skull Candy headphones.

Second, is you just answer to get the question right. Slow and sure has got me the most cash but it’s hard to consistently get questions right. I’ve won two games this way for a total of $200.

Third, is a mixture of the two. At the first half of the game you can play it safe. If you are in the top 25 keep going steady. A lot of people drop out of the top 25. But if you are not in the top 5o by half. I would just answer as fast as you can. You can win something nearly every game.

(Note: I highly suggest watching these games on TV. Questions always synced with the game. So when a commercial comes on there is usually a question.)

Here’s how to start playing Shout:

1: Sign up with an account with Shout on your iPhone

2: Download the app after you sign up

3. Look at the schedule at what games are playing

Now you’re ready to make some money! Make sure to mention me. My shout name is PDitty.

Remembering My Basketball Team: The Hammer Heads

Hammer Heads

Ya know one of my most favorite things to do is to inspire. I coached soccer and basketball this last year and I had so much fun doing it. I think I made a difference in a few kids lives. My motto was: encourage, encourage, and encourage. No matter how bad they played or how much they complained I encouraged them to see their full potential.

One kid I really admired. He had so much heart. He played his hardest even though his skills weren’t as good as the rest of the team, and he still smiled while doing it. You could tell he wanted to be good but he was just not there physically. He amazed me in so many ways though. The last game he had tears streaming down his face because we lost. I put my arm around him and I told him, “Cheer up buddy!!! The point of the game is to have fun and work hard and you did all that and more.” Even though he struggled with somethings compared to others he still gave it his best. He will always be an example to me. (This is making me get hay fever. Weird.)

Anyway, it was a good year of coaching. I learned a lot. I certainly don’t yell as much. I am much more caring. I realize that I am not ready to be dad and that I have a lot to learn before I get married. But it looks like it won’t be for a while. I look forward to coaching more and growing as a person, see ya next season guys. :)

Here is a link to one of my most favorite game that we won.

A Delightful Day of Golf With The Donat Dudes

golfball

Earlier this month the Donat Guys got some time away from loving wives, screaming kids, and for me – away from school to play some good ol’ golf. I had the most horrible first tee shot. I hit the ball off the toe and could have injured someone really bad had they been standing on the 18th hole green. But I pulled it together later. No birdies for me, just a little over bogey golf though.
