Life Goals

Note: This is a semi-complete list of my life goals. This is subject to change and it is in no particular order. It’s broken down into three categories: Have Fun, Help Myself, and Help the World. My thinking is that if I have fun then I will be happy. If I help myself I can be self sufficient and not be a burden to society. Then I can make a difference so I can help others and change the world.

HAVE FUN

- Graduate with a bachelor’s degree
- Graduate with a master’s degree
- Marry the perfect woman in the Temple
- Travel to every continent
- Do running with the Bulls in Spain
- Have a dog that can be a therapy dog and or catch a Frisbee
- Make a CD of my own music
- Live in one of the following cities: New York, L.A., Chicago, or Seattle
- Start my own start-up company
- Make an app
- Have kids

HELP MYSELF

- Sell a company for profit
- Own a home outright
- Pay off all debts
- Turn an annual profit
- Set aside enough money to never have to work the rest of my life

HELP THE WORLD

- Invest in other startup companies
- Use my knowledge to help independent film makers
- Help someone go to college
- Give $1 million dollars to charity
- Help a country in a major world disaster
- Work for a political campaign

Why did I choose these life goals? Because these are my dreams, my challenges, things I fear, things I don’t like doing, stuff I know I should do, or something no one has done before. I was going to put a typical goal in my list but it goes without saying since the goal should be accomplished as I complete these life goals.

Live a Life Worth Living

Did you notice I didn’t put write a book as a life goal? That’s because writing a book just sounds too typical for a life goal. I think if you live a life worth living than you live a life worth writing about. If you live a life worth writing about than you have content for a book (It’s as simple at that). This book could be about myself, or it could be about the things that I have learned. It could be about someone else or a group of people that I understand better. But the purpose is to learn about myself and understand others. I think that is a life worth living.
